Teachers

Mrs. Bronwyn Landwehr

Bronwyn’s teaching career began in Kwa-Zulu Natal where she completed her B.Ed. Foundation and Intermediate Phase Degree. With further teaching experience in the Western Cape, Gauteng and Germany as well as completing her Honours Degree in Early Childhood Education, she brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her classroom every day. Her love and appreciation for the outdoors can be seen in her approach to teaching as she fosters growth, curiosity and exploration in her Ladybirds.

“Teaching this age group is such fun because the children are always eager to learn, their sense of humour is starting to shine through and they’re just so excited about everything – especially school. It is a real privilege to be a part of their day and their learning journey.”

Assisstant – Ms. Shannon Nowalaza

Shannon started at Happy Days in 2017 as an assistant teacher in the Ladybirds class after being an au pair for 3 years.

“I love working with children. I learn so much from them every day, and also from the teachers. My first language is Xhosa and at home we speak Afrikaans, so English is my third language. At first I was shy, but my confidence has grown so much. Everyone is so supportive. Happy days is the best!”
